Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 8, 2026
This policy explains what information Clearline Septic collects, why we collect it, and who we give it to. Clearline Septic is a referral service operated by Navarro Pro Services.
Information you give us
When you submit the service request form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your preferred contact method
- The property address and any access notes you provide, such as gate codes or notes about pets
- The type of service you need
- Tank age or last pumping date, if you know it
- Any symptoms you describe, such as backups, odors, slow drains, or alarms
- Your preferred appointment date
Please share only what is needed to describe your septic issue. There is no need to include financial account details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information in the form's free-text fields, and you should not do so.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking or profiling. Our hosting provider records standard server log information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability purposes. This site loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the font file is requested.
How we use your information
- To understand what septic issue you are describing
- To refer your request to one or more septic companies who can help
- To contact you about your request and confirm the referral
- To follow up on whether a company reached you and how the experience went
- To keep records of referrals we have made, and to meet tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We share the information you submit with independent septic contractors, and we may be compensated for doing so. This is the core of how the service works, and we want it stated plainly rather than buried.
- Septic contractors. Your request, including your name, contact details, property address, and description of the problem, is shared with one or more septic companies in your area so they can contact you and quote the work. Depending on your request, it may be shared with more than one company.
- Compensation. We may receive a fee from a contractor for referring your request. Because a payment is involved, this sharing may be treated as a sale of personal information under some state privacy laws, and we describe it that way rather than rely on a narrower label.
- What happens next is up to them. Once your information reaches a contractor, that company handles it under its own privacy practices, as an independent business and not on our behalf. We do not control how long they keep it, what they use it for, or whether they contact you again later. If you want your information removed from a contractor's records, you will need to ask that company directly.
- Service providers who help us operate. Our website host processes form submissions and delivers them to us. Providers of this kind handle information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Legal obligations. When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the safety or legal rights of a person or of our business.
- Business transfer. If this business is sold or merged, referral records may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
We keep service requests for up to two years so we can respond to follow-up questions and resolve any dispute about a referral. Financial and tax records relating to referral fees are kept as long as the law requires. Requests we never act on are discarded sooner.
How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so information you submit through the form is encrypted in transit. Access to request records is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Do not submit the form. This is the most reliable way to keep your information from being shared. Nothing on this site requires you to submit a request.
- Ask us to stop a referral. If you contact us before we have passed your request to a contractor, we will cancel it.
- Access and correction. You may ask what information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Deletion. You may ask us to delete your information from our records. We may need to keep records required for tax purposes, and we cannot delete a copy already held by a contractor.
- Opt out of sharing or sale. You may tell us not to share or sell your personal information. Because sharing is how a referral happens, opting out means we will not be able to refer your request.
- Stop contact. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law, and we will honor those rights where they apply to us.
Children
This website is intended for property owners and other adults arranging septic service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
